I love these new wheels. They’re only an inch bigger ( 0.7" total diameter increase) but they make the car look so much smaller and sportier by comparison. Here’s a before shot:
Now I just gotta hope that these spur-of-the-moment lug nuts aren’t going to explode or fall off or something.

Nice upgrade. Preserves the style while making it look a little sharper. Where did you get the lug nuts?

I’m really not seeing a difference. Also, I drove my wife’s Soul to work today to run some seafoam through it and she thinks the smoking is embarassing.

So you bought the wheel version of your hubcaps.

the red lug nuts wouldn’

Got them off eBay. They’re from some shop called Speed Daddy, but I’m not sure of the brand.

Essentially, yes. They’re from the newer generation, though, so Soul enthusiasts ( all 12 of them) will surely notice.

No, the stock lug nuts have a lip to hold the hubcaps on. And yeah, they’re definitely very similar. They’re the second-gen base wheels, and mine originally were the first-gen base wheels.

Nice! I like the more subtle lip around the cutouts in the new wheels.
Can we get a closeup on those new lug nuts?

Better to have red nuts than blue balls

I would... But the car is all the way outside and I’m lazy.

Not Mustang wheels but very acceptable!

Mustang wheels need adapters, so they’ll come later if I ever get around to it.
